I'm a fully qualified dietitian and would be happy to offer advice on any aspects of your diet. Contact me if you're worried about your weight, want advice on living with an allergy or have a nutrition-related health problem such as diabetes and heart disease. Or perhaps you just want some general guidance to check your diet is well balanced or you could be training for a special event and want some guidance on nutrition for sports.

I graduated in 2003 with a BSc (Hons) in Human Nutrition & Dietetics after studying for four years at the University of Ulster. I started my career in the NHS, providing nutritional advice to a variety of patients. This included counselling people who wanted to lose weight as well as those who wanted to gain it. I also advised people with health issues such as diabetes, heart disease and food allergies.

More recently I haved worked in the food industry - directly advising chefs and catering managers on menu planning and healthier cooking methods. I can analyse the nutritional content of recipes and provide guidance on catering for people with special dietary needs.

You can check my qualifications at www.hpcheck.org. At step 1, select 'dietitian' and at step 2 enter my surname 'Lardie' (By the way, I know it's a terrible surname for a dietitian!!). Then click on 'Search'. Dietitians have to renew their registration every two years and in order to do so, must prove to the Health Professions Council that their nutritional knowledge is up to date. Always trust a dietitian to know about nutrition.
