I came to yoga after a car accident left me with neck problems. After having some physical therapy treatment I was advised to take up yoga to keep me pain free. I was so impressed with my recovery I went on to study yoga firstly with the BSY for my own interest. I realised that after completing the course that I wanted to study more and start teaching my own class.

I trained further with Shanti School of Yoga and then completed the advanced course. I now teach several classes along with Tai-Chi. I have trained in martial arts for over 25 years and am a former British Gold medallist and Silver European Medallist. After giving this up after my car accident I found much relief in the practice of Tai-chi both mentally and physically.

I have learnt much about myself through personal trauma which I expect like me you may have suffered to. I feel compassionate about the teachings of Yoga and Tai-chi as I feel it is a way of helping us to deal with our many challenges in life. I know that many of my students say that they feel so much easier within their own minds and bodies since practicing. I believe this is a gift that everyone should share in .
