My name is Ken Simm and I am an Artist, Teacher, Writer and Photographer living in the UK.
I have a degree in Fine Art and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education. I have been teaching for 30 years. For the last 5 as an Advanced Skilled Teacher.
My images are in collections around the world and on my website www.kenart.co.uk
I am a passionate advocate of the arts and believe most strongly that this can be taught. I feel learning should be fun but also that before you can learn you need to learn to learn. The Journey is at least as important as the Destination.
I will travel within the designated area to teach you invividually or your group. Please request and read terms and conditions.
I am a fully qualified teacher of thirty years experience. I have run my own large expressive arts faculty. I am also an Advanced Skills Teacher.
I have worked extensively with Art groups such as Creative Arts and Artsmark. I have worked with theatre groups and galleries such as the Lowry.
I am a published author and my images both painted and photographed are in many collections around the world.
Have you ever wished to learn how to draw, paint and produce Fine Art images? Have you ever yearned to become an artist? I will realise your full potential.I am a qualified Advanced Skilled Teacher of 30 years experience. I will teach you to produce your own finished artwork in a huge variety of media. This will include, sketchbook work, images drawn from nature and from the environment, images and material taken from the history of art and finshed artwork in numerous styles. Each student is taught as an individual even when doing group work and will be taught to their strengths in a refreshing and imaginative fashion. I am a firm believer in Learning to Learn.
I will teach you to draw and produce your own finished fine art work. whether it be for examination, fun or career. Everyone can draw, everyone can look. I will teach you how.
I am only prepared to teach under 18's if accompanied by parents or designated adult.
Materials will be included in price.
