Kevin Perrett

I have been a drummer now for over 20 years and in that time have played with numerous band and musicians. I have gigged extensively as well as having lots of recording experience. In 2008 I completed a higher diploma in music performance at North Glasgow college and have been teaching ever since. I play drums for a covers band called the ocean slaves who play a variety of good time covers from the 60's to the 90's. I also play for a duran duran tribute band

I have been teaching drums professionally for around 2 years after completing a higher diploma. I have taught students from the ages of 11 to 55. I teach from my home studio using a roland TD9 electric drum kit

I usually split my lessons up between teaching rudiment skills, learning different drum beats and co ordination as well as using backing tracks so that the student can get used to playing along to music.
