Kirsten McCrossan has created Scotland's Drama in Education Company - Love Drama.
Love Drama is a drama-in-education company who design and deliver workshops for young people all over Scotland.
Love Drama wholly believe in the positivity which drama promotes through providing learning experiences which are active, challenging and enjoyable while allowing pupils to utilise their skills in enterprise, communication, leadership, creativity and presentation.
We encourage all participants to be responsible and independent while learning the inherent skills involved in working within a team. Above all, we strive for our workshops to be enormously fun and positively empowering.
Kirsten is available as a drama in education consultant to schools, colleges, universities and organisations.

Drama Camps by Love Drama
Love Drama host week long drama day camps throughout the school holidays in East Lothian. The camps have been inspired by Kirsten’s time working in children’s camps in Michigan and Wisconsin, USA.
“I was the Director of Drama in an overnight camp in Wisconsin and also taught drama and singing in a day camp in Michigan. I can honestly say I had some of the best experiences of my life during camp. There was always such an upbeat, positive atmosphere with lots of team spirit and camaraderie. Every day was about having fun and creating amazing memories. I am confident that we recreate this experience in our Drama Camps!”
Drama Camp was piloted during the February Holiday 2009 in Musselburgh and has continued in every school break since. We are delighted to have had 100% positive feedback from all campers. Kirsten’s personal favourite was from Kensie Neilson of Musselburgh after Easter Camp. She said: 'I never really had so much fun at Easter time apart from M&D's!'
Drama Camp has been a hit with campers and parents alike. One parent fed back: 'We feel our child's confidence has taken another step up after her week at this class. It has been a wonderful experience.' For Kirsten this is what all the hard work is about. “We strive to create a happy, supportive environment where the participants can learn new skills, have fun and be creative. Drama is the perfect tool for building self-esteem and confidence.”
