Through active exploration I have built up a repertoire of techniques necessary to develop artwork that is innovative, exploratory and personal. I have a very good knowledge and understanding of a variety of materials and processes beyond my degree specialism, printmaking.
Since university I have gained experience through working voluntary and contractually in a number of schools as a Learning Support Assistant, Teacher of Art and Workshop Leader. Within these schools I have experienced varying degrees of cultural diversity, economic wealth and learning capabilities and as a result I am entirely comfortable working with people from all backgrounds, ages, ethnicity and gender.
I currently work part-time at the Wedgwood Museum as a guide and developer/leader of educational workshops and also as an independent workshop leader/artist.
