Interior design and decoration tuition/training.
Visual merchandising/window dressing training.

My teaching style is methodical, practical and down to earth. Rates are competitive of course!

I can train retailers on a one to one basis in store and window presentation and anyone wishing to learn interior design skills to do it themselves.

You will learn design principles and how to apply styles and ideas as well as cost out the project and source materials. You may want to style your house or flat to ensure it sells, spruce up your shop or just get a new hobby - I can train you in the necessary skills.

Help with diploma and degree projects for students is also offered.

I'm currently studying for an MA in Interior Design. This brings me closer to the research side of space, artefacts and movement enabling me to explore theories and theorists.

Experience

Teaching experience

I have a Foundation Certificate in Further & Higher Education.

I work as a freelance interior stylist. Working to tight budgets seems to be my speciality! My teaching to date includes interior design lecturing for Chelsea College of Art & London College of Communication(short courses/diploma), Southampton Solent University (Ba Hons), running the visual merchandising course for Highbury College in Portsmouth and teaching Fashion Merchandise Management for the new MA course at Southampton Solent University. (I'd love to teach for the Amsterdam Fashion Institute one day too.)
