I am an enthusiastic and experienced baker.
I can help you to make a delicious homemade cake, created with ingredients you trust, to impress and delight your family and friends.
Almost any cake is possible, from chocolate cakes, sponges and fruit cakes to scones, flapjacks, meringues, cheesecakes and many more.
And because we'll bake in your home you will be able to successfully make the cake again by yourself.
I have experience of delivering professional training in other areas and I can adapt to different skills levels and ages.

Cake-baking lessons
I will give you a cake-making lesson in your own home using your oven, though I will provide some equipment for the duration of the lesson if required.
I can offer a one-to-one tutorial or will teach a small group - it's negotiable.

THE SMALL PRINT
Lessons cost £10 an hour (£5 per half hour) up to a total fee of no more than £40.
This fee includes:
1) An initial consultation ( by phone or email) to confirm what type of cake you wish to make
2) An estimate of the time required and the cost of the lesson
3) The cost of the basic ingredients. I'll tell you beforehand if there are any specific ingredients that will entail an extra charge.
4) If necessary, the provision of equipment for the duration of the lesson
5) A copy of the cake recipe for you to keep.
There is no fee if a lesson is cancelled more than 24 hours beforehand. There will be a charge of £5 if cancellations are made less than 24 hours before the lesson.
