Group Classes
Yoga level 1 & 2
For the intermediate yoga student or the beginner who likes a challenge, this hour long class focuses mostly on the physical aspects of yoga but also includes some philosophy, meditation, and breathing exercises. With a strong focus on alignment, you will learn about your body as never before as you challenge yourself to gain balance, strength, and flexibility.
Gentle Yoga
Great for the beginning student or those with injuries, this class moves slowly through basic yoga exercises. Learn therapeutic alignment that will keep your body safe and healthy for a lifetime of yoga.
Each week a theme relates the work we do in class to our daily lives. Classes also include short meditation, breathing exercises, and restorative (relaxing) poses. Though the class is slow and gentle, it is never boring.
Experience

Taught yoga 1 and yoga 2 to college students, 6 classes per week.
Asheville Yoga Center
Teach 3 yoga classes per week in a studio setting.
Asheville YMCA
Teach yoga classes in a busy gym setting, up to 70 people per class.
