Maggi Heilweil

I have taught voice for 30 years. My personality style is direct, honest, informal, kind, supportive,and nurturing. I use a lot of body awareness approaches along with a solid understanding of the how the voice works and how to teach each person according to who they are. My own extensive performance and training background have given me the skills to offer instruction to my students (in addition to good vocal technique) in acting, movement, languages, repertoire ideas and performance skills.
My own perfomance experience is in opera, classical song, oratorio, music theater and cabaret. I am unique in my ability to teach and coach students across that full spectrum.
