Belly dance class introduces the student to raqs sharqi (Oriental dance) basics while giving a full body workout. You will be expertly taught exercises such as a hip work articulation, shimmies, body undulations, hand/arm techniques, dancing with a veil, sagat (finger cymbals) and so much more!
Advanced groups are being introduced to elements of contemporary dance and pure ballet techniques combined with Oriental dance. Such fusion forms make the choreographies unique,dynamic, expressive. The advanced classes master conveying emotions through movement.
