I learnt to meditate nearly 30 years ago and it was the best favour I ever did myself. I got far more from meditation than I had ever suspected I would when I signed up for my first course in London in 1982. Meditation has enriched and supported my life ever since.
I have been teaching meditation for the last 20 years. My training was at the London Buddhist Centre and within the context of the Triratna Buddhist Community and I worked as a full time meditation teacher for the London Buddhist Centre for 13 years (under my Buddhist name - Vimalachitta).
I have taught meditation in many different settings over the years, and I am very pleased to be now offering meditation in the beautiful Stroud area.
I offer meditation tuition in a practical and accessible way, in course, classes, retreats and one-to-one sessions.
I also teach Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction which uses some of the benefits of meditation and applies it specifically to learning how to cope better with the stresses that life inevitably brings us.
I also teach meditation in a Buddhist Context - setting meditation within the core principles and practices of Buddhism.
All these approaches are open to anyone - regardless of their faith or beliefs.
