Scientific Experience
I am a scientist with 28 years' professional experience, consisting of 4 years in a hospital clinical chemistry laboratory and 23 years in the pharmaceutical industry as a biological scientist. I have therefore gained a broad range of skills and knowledge in various biological specialties as well as scientific mentorship and teaching. In particular I have much experience in supervising BSc and MSc students on industrial placements. I have also been CRB checked for tutoring younger people. In addition to tutoring GCSE and A-level Biology, I offer coaching in scientific writing for undergraduates.

All rates assume sessions conducted from home. I will travel up to a maximum of 15 miles to student's house at 40p per mile. On-line tutoring/mentoring also available through Skype. I can also review essays and project reports at same rates as for tutoring.
