Martyn Rapley

I have been playing guitar for 20 years with 17 years professional teaching experience. I teach all styles, specialising in modern rock techniques.

I also teach classical and flamenco guitar styles, and bass guitar.

In 1996, I was a finalist in the National Guitarist of the Year competition, and in 1998, was also a finalist in the Acoustic Guitarist of the Year, performing original instrumental guitar pieces at both at Wembley, London, and remain the only guitarist to have reached both finals.

Recently I was an online finalist of the International Guitar Idol competition 2009.
