Michael Gingold
Saxophone teacher
I am a UK-based professional saxophonist with over 20 year's experience, playing live gigs, recording sessions, TV & Radio worldwide. I've played in all sorts of styles and situations. I have been teaching since 1999. I have a BA(Hons) in Music.
If you're a beginner, I can teach you how to develop a unique voice on your instrument, how to play by ear, improvise, read music and understand music theory by practical application -age immaterial.
If you're an intermediate or advanced player, maybe my experience will be useful to you in developing a strong style and technique, and insight into the nuts & bolts of melody, harmony and rhythm. I can also advise you on mouthpieces, reeds and running repairs & maintenance of your instrument.
Grade Exams: I have a successful track record of coaching for the ABRSM (Royal School of Music, Jazz or Classical) saxophone Grades and the Guildhall (Jazz or Classical) saxophone Grades.
