North West Pilates Centre is a fully equipped Mat and Equipment Boutique studio that provides Stott Pilates, Yoga and Sports massage to clients throughout the North West. The studio is set in an art gallery in the heart of the st.helends cultural quarter. The Centre has been established for seven years and offers both mat and one to one classes.

Group mat classes utilize rings, Swiss balls, Foam rollers and Arc barrels, private lessons are conducted on the Rehab-Reformer, Cadillac, Split Chair and Ladder barrel.

North West Pilates is run by studio Director Nisha Srivastava, Nisha is assisted by a full team of qualified staff.

The Company also provides a corporate package, which is ideal for stress days and in-house training. North West Pilates centre works along side local hospitals, General Practioners, Physios, Chiropractors and Osteopaths. They are currently running an injury prevention programme at a number of professional Football clubs throughout the U. K.

Their motto is "Superior Training Dynamic Success'.

All Staff are highly qualified in either Stott Pilates or British Wheel of Yoga. All new clients are given a complimentary consultation consisting of a postural analysis and a brief medical.

Background from birth to now.

Nisha's energy is infectious.She knows how to bring out the best in her students.She blends her own artistic vision and life experiences into each lesson.Nisha originates from North West of England and was first introduced to Health and Wellness through her mother,who follows "The Good Life"(aka Felicity Kendall). She gets her determination,ambition and lust for adventure through her father who hails from Lucknow in Northern India. Nisha has been in the Dance, Health and Fitness industry for 16 years and uses this background to develop her own style of Athletic Pilates.She is a fully qualified Dance teacher with the "Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance"and ran her own dance school "Alhambra Academy of Dance and Drama" for sixteen years before selling it in December 2007. Her unique style creates a vigorous and dynamic vinyasa flow of Pilates, which is based on Stott Pilates and is inspired by her dance and Yoga experience. Her bespoke programme is taught according to the anatomical principles of STOTT Pilates and the ‘F.A Treatment and Management of injuries in Football’.

The methods of Pilates teaching that she uses have been greatly influenced by Martha Graham,Merce Cunningham,kathey Corey,Michael king,Shiva Rae,John Friend,Simon Low ,Elizabeth Larkam,Sean Corn,P.J.Oclair,John Garey and Hollywood’s favourite Siri Dharma Galliano.She also encorparates concepts from her extensive travels across Asia,Middle East and U.S studying varoius forms of Pilates and Yoga.

Nisha is currently running her bespoke programme across a number of professional football and rugby teams in the U.K. and is presently training to be a Yoga teacher with Prema Rosemary Bennett of the "British Wheel of Yoga"She is a regular guest presenter at the Dallas school of Western and Classical dance ,Mumbai, and also holds weekly spin,aqua and Pilates classes at the village group of hotels and greens health and fitness.Nisha assisting staff can be viewed on her friends.

THE SMALL PRINT

All classes are held in out friendly, clean, light-filled, comfortable loft-style studios overlooking St Helens Cultural Quarter. We encourage you to experiment with different classes and teachers to find the style(s) of pilates/yoga that are right for you. If you are new to pilates/yoga, it is recommended that you try at least 10 classes in two months to get an idea of the practice. All ages, shapes and flexibility levels will benefit from pilates/yoga. Classes are 60 minutes long, EXCEPT yoga which is 90 minutes.

• All new Pilates clients are required to take a 1 hour private session; this will ensure that the client understands their basic abnormalities and the five basic principles. Initial consultation: £40.
• Classes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Please choose them carefully.
• All Pilates fees must be paid prior to attending class.
• We accept cash, cheque.
• Pre-registration is required for all Pilates courses.
• Pre-registration is not required for yoga drop in.
• Yoga Drop in classes are £6.00 adults, paid at class
• Tai Chi Drop in classes are £5.00,paid at class
• Pilates Mat classes are £7.50 each and are paid for monthly in advance.
• Group Reformer classes are £12 each , paid for monthly in advance.(taught in groups of three).
• Initial consultation £40, one to one £35, one to two £45.
