Patrick Foster

My name is Patrick Foster and I lecture in Photography at Harlow College in Essex. I enjoy teaching enormously and taught photography at university level before changing to teaching A levels and vocational level photography. I have many years of experience that could help many people become better photographers.

So, whether you want to improve your own snaps or you have aspirations to become a professional photographer I can help.

I work freelance when time permits submitting work to Camera Press a well know picture agency.

I have a Masters Degree in Fine Art (photography) and am a member of the Royal Photographic Society.

I am Irish but have lived and worked in England for most of my life. I have been photographing Ireland for most of my life and have a large archive of negatives. This work is called 'a collection of irish memories' and I have exhibited this work many times in many countries. I also photograph many other things and many other countries but I remain faithful to my roots.
