Professional musician, working mostly in jazz and Latin music.

Director of the inspirational, pioneering Blowpipes Trombone Trio, playing classical, jazz, traditional and other musics.

Trained in Lancashire brass bands. Gigs and tours from here to Australia; recordings in jazz, Latin, African, Balkan, rock, soul, funk and many other kinds of music.

Creator/performer of solo trombone project: trombone poetry.

Workshops in jazz / world music, including Kingston University, Dartington International Summer School, London Centre of Contemporary Music, Hoxton Hall, Royal Academy of Music.

Composer for Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, Jazz Grades.
