Phil has been teaching dance since the 1990's. He formerly studied to be a dance teacher with Diane Jarmolow of the Dance Teachers College in the San Francisco Bay Area. His favorite dances are:

He teaches all ballroom dances as well as free style dancing and has helped many couples prepare for their first dance.
