I'm an accredited/registered psychotherapist and counsellor working with groups and individuals since 1986. I've worked with a wide range of people and settings, as well as running professional training in spiritual counselling.

I've supervised a variety of different professionals and am now keen to offer my skills to those working within the transition and environmental movement. So many give time and energy with passion, and without the back-up of self-reflective support they can burn-out. Mentoring provides space to reflect on your work, offload and explore new ways of approaching things. I'm open to both individual and group situations(peer groups stimulate exchange). If your work is non paid then I'm open to other forms of exchange. I can also arrange for online consultation on request.

In addition I am an author of a self-help book "Breaking the Spell-the key to Recovering Self-esteem" (PSAvalon 2005) and a poetry book "She Who Walks With Stones and Sings" (PSAvalon 2007). I am also an artist and love to use my creativity to help people reframe their issues. I'm passionate about nature and involved with Transition Glastonbury.

Psychosynthesis is a transpersonal approach to psychotherapy based on the premise that we're more than our personality ie we are spritual as well as human beings and we are a part of the web of life. Ps. has a very inclusive and creative approach with lots of tools and methods including art, visualisation, working with sub-personalities (different aspects of ourselves), developing mature will, and issues around our relationship with the Self and also with the planet.
