Singing lessons can help you achieve your goals - whatever they may be.

I teach students of all levels and abilities. Current students range from absolute beginners to professional stage performers looking to continue improving their technique. I also work closely with one of the vocal coaches to Sony BMG.

My lessons cover the technical fundamentals, as well as confidence work and performance skills. I can help you with breathing techniques, pitching and ear training, widening your range, increasing resonance and hitting those high notes with more ease! I am also able to assist you with:

* Advice on song selection
* Learning to read music and basic music theory
* Building a repertoire that suits your voice and personality
* Audition and performance techniques (including mic technique, key selection, etc.)
* Advice on maintaining a healthy instrument

The first lesson is at a special rate of £15. Subsequent lessons are £25.

Brief Biography

* Who is Rochelle? *

I am an opera singer with over 20 years experience in music, including Opera, Musical Theatre and Jazz, beginning at the age of 5 when I played a singing tree in my elementary school's adaptation of Snow White. This sparked a passion for performing which led me to study music and performing arts. By the time I left High School I already had several stage roles and solo performances under my belt, including an orphan in Annie, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, soprano solos for Handel's Messiah and Carmina Burana, and the performance of several solo arias for professional chamber ensembles and repertoire companies. My experience afforded me the opportunity to study with the prestigious Oregon Repertory Singers, and allowed me to tour Europe with the Oregon Ambassadors of Music, singing in several noteworthy locations including Westminster Abbey. I am now looking forward to performing with the Chelsea Opera Group in upcoming concert opera performances of Gluck's Alceste and Verdi's La Traviata.

As well as performing, I have been working as a vocal coach to children and adults both privately and at local Community Schools in the US and UK for several years.
