I am pleased to offer science tutoring at GCSE. Whether a young person embarking on GCSE courses for the first time, or a mature student returning to education, my approach is to develop a specific programme of study tailored for different learners. With twenty years of experience teaching science at GCSE, I have taught AQA, Edexcel and OCR and so am familiar with the most popular courses currently taught in the UK. I am also an examiner for O level biology.

I have extensive experience with Special needs and English as an additional language students and can differentiate all work to develop each person's full potential.

For Years 10 and 11 students I can offer lessons that fit in tandem with their current studies in school. For mature entry students, I can offer accelerated learning courses, to acquire a GCSE in 1 year instead of 2. This course would suit Primary PGCE students who need Science GCSE to practice

I am currently a practising secondary science teacher and also undertake workshops and training in primary schools to develop the skills of NQT teachers in practical science.

I am CRB checked and would consider group lessons for two or more PGCE students
