I am a saxophone player and teacher living in Bristol. As well as giving private sax lessons to adults and young people, I am a Senior Music Tutor for BANES. I am good with beginners, but also have kids who have passed their TrinityGuildhall Grade 8 exam. Some folks want to learn to play tunes, or blow some blues, or prepare their GCSE performance, or resume sax after 20 years' gap, or...So, my job is to try and find what you want, and how to get you there. Underneath it all is a good sound and good tuning, so that whatever you want to play sounds great. Get in touch to see if I can get you or your offspring going on some saxophone action.

I play and record as much as possible, whether in a horn section in a show, or as a blues soloist, working with a songwriter or putting 8 bars on a psychobilly CD. So, I try to keep on my toes as a player - besides making me more tired, it means I have a lot of different music experience to filter into my teaching.
