I'm the foreman (teacher) of Jackstraws, a women's Morris team based in Hale near Farnham. We were founded in 1977, and have fun, but aim for high standards, presenting dances from the Cotswold Morris repertoire, and ones which we create in similar style, at pubs, festivals and gatherings of Morris persons all over the south of England and occasionally further afield. I've been dancing Cotswold Morris since 1978, and am an experienced teacher of adults and children at workshops as well as in teams.
I'm available to teach school groups, brownies, guides, cubs, scouts, special interest groups - including training you up for that fun fancy dress occasion!
