Lineage
Sifu Waller's main kung fu teacher was called Peter Southwood. He taught in Peter's class (Bradford Yang Style Tai Chi Association) and trained with him privately every week between 1990 - 2004.
In 2004 Sifu Waller moved to the North East but still saw Peter as often as possible.
Over the years Sifu Waller went to workshops with Peter and was a regular guest at Peter's house.
They explored the art at length.
Much of our syllabus is derived from Peter's teachings.
Martial arts experience
Sifu Waller started martial arts training in the mid 1970's, both in class and daily at home.
During the 1980's and 1990's Sifu Waller attended up to five different lessons a week, sometimes travelling over 40 miles for tuition.
He also attended a considerable number of workshops around the UK.
Sifu Waller enjoyed practicing many different kinds of martial arts.
