Hi I'm a singer, songwriter and singing teacher. My lessons consist vocal work-outs and of songs which the student will perform instrumentally supported by piano (or backing depends on the song). I am based in east London.

Teaching Program

Vocal Technique:
- The Diaphragm breathing technique.
- The Right way to bridge from chest to head voice
- How to control resonance. (the mask, the soft palate, the chest) and vocal modes (twang, belt, falsetto)
- How to find your own sound
- The intonation
- The Posture
- The Vowels

The art of singing, the Style, the use of microphone:

- Analysis and performance of Afro-american jazz & blues traditionals, selected by the teacher
- Analysis and performance of songs selected by the student.
- The meaning of lyrics and how to convey feelings through the song (dynamics and accents)
- How to modify vowels.
- When to take breaths.
- How to find your key.
- The use of microphone
- How to perform on stage.

Two years at the Milan Jazz School directed by Maestro Enrico Intra, where I attended singing (with Mrs. Laura Conti and Francesca Oliveri), harmony (with Mr. Fabio Jeger), music theory and solfeggio (with Mr. Massimo Guasconi and Mr.Marco Visconti Prasca) and Jazz history and aesthetics courses (with Mr. Maurizio Franco).
Two years of vocal techniques (bel canto and voice craft) and Jazz, Blues and Gospel chant with Mrs. Francesca Oliveri.
One year vocal practicing with australian singer and singing teacher Jamie Lee Wilson.

Most relevant music experiences:

I performed live on several occasions with the Milan Jazz School Choir directed by Mrs. Francesca Oliveri.
The Choir also took part in the Musical “Interview with Malcolm X”, written and directed by Master Giorgio Gaslini.

My experience in the Ring Jazz Chorus Quartet also gave me the opportunity of rearranging a number of classics of the Jazz, Gospel and Spiritual music tradition.
Among many other live experiences, we took part in the musical “MASS” by Leonard Bernstein.

I have been also part of Java Jives, a vocal group which has been performing in Milan clubs for several years.

And contemporary Gospel band No One Else – featuring fifteen singers and a funky-soul band working with Gospel singers Julia St. Louis, Joyce Yuille, Junior Robinson.
We had the opportunity to perform at La Fenice Theatre in Venice with tenor Alessandro Safina.

In November 2011 I had the privilege to perform the song 'Amazing Grace' with Andrea Bocelli on italian natiolan TV RAI.

I also founded with a jazz trio the blues band Blue Spirit Blues, a tribute to the 20’s Blues Empress’ Bessie Smith. Blue Spirit Blues features Alessio Pacifico (Drums), Alex Orciari (Contrabass) and Ivan Segreto (Piano).

I have been teaching modern singing at GB Studio (Milan) ,at CDCM Music School (Milan) 182 school of Music (London ).

I have been working for years as a songwriter in the project known as Sibilla. Performing as a solo artist or with my band in several London music venues(93 feet east, Arts Club, Metro, Hope and Anchor, Colony Room, Turnmills, Leonards, The Space, The good ship, The Slaughtered Lamb etc.. )
