Needle Felt Garden Birds
Introduction to Needle Felting – Make a sweet garden bird – with Sophie Buckley @ Mother Goose, Nailsworth
Fancy trying needle felting? Made popular by Kirsty Allsop – this fun craft is easy to get started and you'll be creating miniature animals in no time. Look out for needle felt dogs and festive decorations too! Using just wool and a special needle you will sculpt and carve the wool bit by bit until – like magic – a creature appears. As well as your beautiful bird, you will get a needle and sponge to take home and carry on your new hobby.
£30 including felting needle, sponge mat and wool tops & refreshments
Places limited. Held at: Mother Goose, 10a Market Street, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, GL6 0BX

“Sophie's making slippers workshop is fun and inclusive of all abilities - She is a craftsperson who is also naturally gifted at showing and encouraging others to learn to make things by hand too - a rare combination. It had been many years since I last held a crochet hook and through her inspiring teaching I was able to make a pair of slippers for my new grandchild which has given me a great sense of achievement. Thank you Sophie!” Joanna, Sheepskin Slippers Workshop February 2012
