Sue Johnson
Tai Chi classes in Bury, Oldham and north Manchester.
Wild Goose Qigong Classes - student of Dr Bingkun Hu.
Our classes are friendly and informal and suitable for all abilities.
I have been training Chen Style Tai Chi for over 20 years, for the last 10 I have trained in China on a regular basis. My teacher Master Liu Yong is an Indoor Student of Grandmaster Chen Zheng Lei.
I have been teaching in the Manchester area since 1994.
We currently have classes around Bury and Oldham.
we organise trips to China to practice Tai Chi and learn about Chinese Culture.
We have represented the UK in China/UK Tai Chi meetings since 2001.
Our Tai Chi has to be exactly the same as that practised in China to enable our students to perform alongside Chinese practitioners. Although we aim for a high standard, our beginners classes are friendly and informal.
Wild Goose Qigong is a Daoist system which dates back to the Jin Dynasty. It follows the movements of an innocent Wild Goose, allowing the body to move by using "yin and yang steps". The hands make circular motions promoting the flow of Qi,dredging the channels and promoting health and well-being. It promotes flexibility and suppleness by stretching and relaxing.
