Takami Weaver
Takami is from Osaka in Japan. She returned to studying piano after working in various fields. Takami has been studying piano with Jeremy Davis at the London College of Music. She also studied with Andrew Zolinsky, Robert Sholl and others at the College and was also a member of the chamber choir there. She studied the flute with Rainer Schuelein at the College.
Takami attained her BA in Japan and her BMus (Hons) and MMus degrees in England. She also attained the LLCM (TD), a piano teaching diploma.
She has performed piano at various local festivals and Master classes. Takami participated in the Beethoven competition at the College adjudicated by Andrew Ball. She also performed one of the Beethoven Piano Trios with a violinist and a cellist for a Chamber Music project.
Takami would like to expand her repertoire in the future with the work of other romantic and impressionist composers. She has been engaged in giving her own piano recital for concerts at various local churches. She has been singing at concerts with a local chamber choir. Takami is currently registered with a private tutor agency as a piano tutor.
