I taught credential applicants String Pedagogy at Cal State Fullerton. I also taught string techniques for music composition to orchestration students at Cal State Los Angeles.
Professional Violinist
I am an active soloist, chamber, studio and orchestral musician, performing over 125 concerts per year. I have given several premieres of concertos, chamber music, operatic and orchestral works. My career includes performances with such notable artists as: Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Zubin Mehta, Henryk Szeryng, Joshua Bell, Gil Shaham, and James Galway. In addition, I have performed and recorded with popular artists like: Lalo Schifrin, Ray Charles, Diane Schuur, George Benson, Barry White, Doc Severenson, Roger Williams, and Michael Jackson.
Along with my position in the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra, I have been concertmaster of the Crystal Cathedral Orchestra, Los Angeles Master Chorale, and West Coast Symphony. I perform with the New West Symphony and have been principal second violin with the Glendale Symphony since 1991. I have taught violin and viola for over 25 years. I am the first violinist for the Avanti String Quartet who were Artists in Residence at Clemson University. The quartet was named to be the artists for the Coleman Chamber Music Association Student Performance Series in Pasadena and Altadena.
