Trudy Keating

My name is Trudy Keating. I'm Canadian but I am currently living in France. At the moment I teach in 5 primary schools in the south west of France. Before moving to France 8 years ago I was living in the UK where I also worked as a primary school teacher in 2 schools for 12 years. I love children and I love my job so everything just seems to work.
I've decided to teach online as a result of receiving a letter a week ago from my employer here in France stating that as a result of budgeting problems I will not be guaranteed work in September.
As a result of this I'm very eager to try teaching English to children aged 4-11 online. I am sure teaching online will be as successful as my teaching has worked here in France and in the UK over the past 20 years.
I commit myself completely to my students, I prepare thoroughly for each lesson, making each lesson fun and interesting. I always base new lessons on learning and information from past lessons. Repetition is most important to ensure learning and understanding has taken place in previous lessons.Throughout each lesson I do my utmost to build self-confidence in all my students in whatever lesson is being focused on at any given time. Progression at a fast pace is always ensured.
