I am a NYC based singing cellist. I've taught the cello since age 14, my students have ranged from age 5 - 70. I've spent the past 4 years developing a unique technique, performing with acts spanning all musical genres, traveling the country with touring minstrals, and improvising till the cows come home. I have a background in philosophy, which has shaped both my playing and teaching. I approach each student, and lesson, through a unique lens, advocating the thought that our strengths are developed through our weaknesses, and that we are all capable of expressing our individual sound and way of hearing the world. I have a background teaching classical technique as well as experimental, jazz, and progressive composition. I am a versitile player, and will adapt our lessons to fit your musical preferances and desires.
