I am a qualified music lecturer (LLCM, MA, City and Guilds Stage 1 & 2 in Adult Teaching).

I am resident in the South Woodford area and have many years experience of teaching both adults and children. I have a creative, professional and thorough approach.

Piano Teacher

I have been teaching piano for over 20 years both in the USA and UK.

I teach adults and children using a variety of teaching methods ranging from technical exercises, through to improvisation, composition, musicinship and theory. I also incorporate Dalcroze teachniques in some of my teaching. I have also done much group piano/keyboard teaching.

I work with the Trinity and ABRSM exam boards, both Jazz and Classical.

24 hours of cancellation of private lessons must be given otherwise the lesson fee is applied.

1 taster lesson at regular price, thereafter, lessons must be paid for in advance in blocks of 5 or 10.

The student must have a keyboard or piano at home to practice on for piano lessons.

Regular practice in between lessons is assumed as progress cannot happen without this.
