Wendy Andrew
I gained a degree in ceramics after spending five years at art college learning a broad and in depth range of techniques. I also did teacher training. I was solely a maker for several years and am now a very experienced teacher having taught in primary and secondary schools, youth groups, community groups, Manchester Art Gallery, widely in the homeless sector, in adult education and have taught private classes for children and adults for ten years.
I like all methods of making myself and am strong on decorating using all and any techniques.

Experience
Making and Teaching
I have been a maker selling to shops in Manchester specialising in slipcasting techniques in the 1980's.
More recently I have sold thrown pots in Manchester Art Gallery and handbuilt work in galleries.
I have been teaching for twelve years and enjoy teaching all methods of making and decorating.
I have taught in primary schools, secondary schools, sixth forms, youth groups, community groups, adult education, widely in the homeless sector and privately with children's and adults' classes. I hold corporate events and group sessions.
