Hello there,
Thought I'd try my hand at passing on some of the passion and interest I have in good food to anyone who's interested!

I'm one of those people who can look at the fridge/cupboard and decide what meal can be thrown together.

I've also got an allotment so the pleasure of food extends from choosing what to grow, watching it grow and then bringing it to the table, often to be shared with friends.

No formal training as such unless you count having parents who owned a chinese takeaway, and advanced level home economics which probably dates me.

I like all types of cooking but best with general stuff and of course Chinese though don't expert anything fancy like Peking Duck!

When I've helped friends in the kitchen, showing them that they do have the confidence and ability to cook, it's usually been a good experience, hence the pic - aim to be chilled for you and me!
