Hello, my name is Dr. Zara Wood and I specialize as a private tutor in Math and Science for age group 12-18.
I hold a Ph.D. degree and a PGCHE teaching qualification. I have been teaching Science at the Universities of Bristol and Kent for the past 6 years, and have been a private tutor in Math and Science for 4 years.
I come across as a motivated and enthusiastic tutor. My tutoring is goal-oriented but takes place in a relaxed stress-free environment. I want each student to achieve their best, and strongly believe that negative barriers in studies can be changed to positive outcomes. My aim is to increase self-confidence and self-motivation in students, so they can fulfill their study goals.
