A Handful of Harmonies is a hobby with a difference! Established July 2011 the group aims to give women from 17 to 70+ the opportunity to share the joy of music with like-minded people in a fun and creative environment.
Weekly sessions, under the instruction of an experienced Natural Voice Practitioner and registered British Voice Association teacher, will provide opportunities for you to sing in harmony, discover new techniques and to improve your musicality, understanding and appreciation of music. With your newly found confidence you will tackle more complicated and challenging musical arrangements and enjoy hearing the finished result – just for pleasure!
Whilst we intend to “work” hard these sessions will be enjoyable social events. There will be discipline and structure but also fun and laughs as we rehearse songs from a variety of genres, performing new musical arrangements to suit a variety of tastes. No previous experience is required but enthusiasm is a must.
Sessions are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, in Bourne, Peterborough, Market Deeping and Langtoft. Timings can be found in the Locations section of the site. Please note that Registration begins fifteen minutes prior to the start of the session to ensure we are ready to warm-up on time.
