Does everyone in your area have access to your services?
Are your services really getting to the people who need them?
Is your service new to an area or are you wanting to expand your reach?
Are you worried about duplication or stepping on the toes of other service providers?
Do you need to find the gaps?

This one-day course will train you in creative tools and techniques that you can use to map the services or provision in your area of interest. You will be able to find out where the gaps lie and be equipped with the tools you need to do an effective mapping exercise on the things you really need to know e.g.:

- What is stopping people accessing your service?
- What provision is there for under-5s locally?
- How safe do people feel in their neighbourhood, on a street-by-street basis?
- How good is local transport and how much is it used?

You will gain hands-on experience of developing these methods to suit your own working environment and will leave with a useful information pack that you can use to develop and deliver mapping in-house.
