Friendly one-to-one music lessons from an experienced, patient teacher, currently online.

Louisa is happy training you for exams or learning just for fun, teaching you Mozart on the piano, Motown on the flute, or Metallica on the accordion! “Everyone’s different, and that’s what makes being a music tutor so much fun!”

FIRST LESSON
During the £10 taster session Louisa will find out what you’d like to learn and what music you enjoy playing, so she can tailor a course of study especially for you.

ACCORDION
Louisa has performed in gypsy, jazz, chanson, folk, and even punk bands with the accordion. With so many different types and sizes of accordion it’s often the hardest instrument to buy, so do get in touch if you are a beginner and need help choosing.

THEORY LESSONS
Music theory lessons can be taught using whatever instrument you play, whether it’s a guitar, harmonica, or even your voice. You can learn how to read and write music, how to compose, improvise, or improve your sight-reading, as well as learning how music “works” so that you can understand the music you listen to or play better.

BAND SKILLS LESSONS
Band skills classes are loads of fun and are for people wanting to gain the confidence and skills necessary in order to join a band: improvisation, keys, harmony, chord progressions, and sight-reading are learnt whilst gaining the experience of playing and rehearsing with another person. All instruments are welcome and you can choose the type of music you want to play.
