Pregnancy yoga programmes for beginners + yoginis too busy to attend weekly classes, or for those wishing to have a special personalised session for home practice.
These classes will help to connect you to your centre, increase your body awareness, internal focus, help you learn to listen to your own natural inner rhythm, intuition, and body signals, and to trust in your own innate power to give birth.
You will learn breathing and relaxation techniques, plus mindfulness, postures, movements to use in labour, maybe with minimum pain relief if this is ones choice, which will enable you to 'give birth in a yogic way.'
We focus on belly breathing, using the DYB and diaphragm and pelvic floor muscles in synchronicity, to work well together to make contractions more effective and efficient. We focus on softening, opening and releasing the pelvic floor with awareness to be 'in tune' with the birthing process + breathe your baby out into the world. There have been many positive birth experiences some home ones too and yoga helped mums to be every step of the way :-)

I am also a trained childbirth teacher, as well as NHS professional working in collaboration with midwives + GPs.
