experimental textile art

To be held at the New Hall Bawtry from May 6th onwards:
This course will introduce beginners and the more experienced to a range of textiles skills such as batik, transfer printing, painting and crayoning, which they will later use to create a larger scale piece of work, which will also incorporate various ways to manipulate fabrics such as couching, applique, quilting etc.
The second term will see the introduction of paper-making collage, print-making and collagraphy along with skills learned in the first term, to create a large scale or more finished outcome.
Experimentation and enjoyment are the words most people use to describe this course.
All equipment is provided.
