Stained Glass Taster

Learn to cut glass, grind it to refine and smooth the edges, foil it a la Tiffany and solder it together to make a suncatcher.

This workshop gives you all the basics needed to go on and produce more complex pieces.

I hold a similar workshop for learning how to make true leaded stained glass, which uses completely different techniques.

More advanced workshops are also available.

Held in our light and airy studio in Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln, workshop and course days run from 9am until around 4.30pm, or when you’re finished, so there are no time pressures. Fees quoted are per person and are inclusive of all materials and tuition, use of tools etc, a notebook for your workshop jottings, on-tap refreshments all day and a good lunch at the local hostelry!

Most workshops are held on a 1-to-1 basis, on a mutually convenient day, so there are no cancellations because not enough students have enrolled.

If you book for more than one person for the same day, you will receive a 15% discount on your own fee for every extra person you include (e.g. book for yourself and two friends and your own fee will reduce by a massive 30%! If you book for more than one workshop for yourself (booked at the same time and paying the required deposits) you will receive 5% off each one.
