modulators: envelopes, LFOs, routing, midi, control, programming
filters: cutoff, resonance, HP, LP, BP, 6/12/24db/octave etc
playing: controlling, multitimbral, polyphonic, monophonic
As well as the absolute basics of sound design:
* frequency domain versus time domain
* fourier analysis and uses
* what does a filter do?
* what is the basic architecture of your common synth
