Experiential Art-Making
Experiential art-making is a bit different to your regular art lesson. In this session you will receive creative mentoring through the expressive arts taking you on a journey into your dreams, you inner world and your sub conscious.
Using mindfulness, guided meditations and visualisations you will explore your sub conscious self through art materials.
The power of the mind is extraordinary. We live in a world where people live in their heads. This over-thinking and disconnection from your body and mind or physical/emotional can cause far more harm, stress and illness than you could possibly imagine.
Often, people will say they go for a run or to the gym to “stop thinking” however, though your body may look fit and trim the mind may be self-critical and one of the main causes of the daily stress in your life. Guided meditation will help you to see your body mending, restructuring and repairing itself while also connecting to your mind, emotions and spirit in a more harmonious and balanced way.
Guided meditation helps to unlock the subconscious. It is a great way to relax and relieve stress and to heal old negative patterns that are inhibiting your performance or growth. It also helps to find the root of dis-ease (which will eventually become disease if not healed) and find your life purpose. When you’re in a deep meditative state you will step into the sources of wisdom that you hold in your subconscious.
I can add Reiki to the end of the session for an extra £20 charge (Reiki lasts 30 mins)
Adding Reiki at the end of your holistic mentoring session offers you a powerful way to bring your body and mind back into balance. Long-term practice of whole body Reiki will restore the general condition of the body. It will open the energy channels and this will allow the body to deal properly and naturally with stress and built-up toxins. You will feel calmer, energised and more rejuvenated so that you can manage the daily stresses and challenges that occur in your normal day to day routine.
