Using Synths To Come Up With Completely New And Unique Sounds
• Recording/Sampling:
Using Samplers and samples to Come Up With Completely New And Unique Sounds and Recording Vocals/equipment etc
• Composition and Arrangement:
Beat making, and Programming Beats, Melodies, Chords, Sequences, Polyrhythms Etc.
• Effects/Processing
• Compression and Dynamics Processing
• Mixing and Mastering – Automation, Eqing, line levels.
Mixing and mastering, will also include:
- Enhancing and refining and creative use of outboard and plugins
- Transferring audio to the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) such as; Ableton, Logic, Cubase and Reaper
- Editing audio and automation in the DAW
- Use of multi-band compression, master compression, EQ finalising and limiters for mastering
