I will provide for you:

A ball of yarn and a pair of needles
Handouts for each week in a course pack
Practise worksheets for between lessons

Week 1 - Casting on and the knit stitch

Week 2 - Purl stitch, casting off and stocking stitch

Week 3 - correcting errors 1, consolidation of learning, shaping part 1 - increasing

Week 4 - Correcting Errors 2, Rib stitch, pattern reading part 1, Shaping part 2 - decreasing

Week 5 - Correcting Errors 3, Tension Squares, Using Textures, Pattern Reading Part 2

Week 6 - Pattern Reading Part 3, Introduction to basic colour

I encourage students to have a specific project in mind that they can also work on alongside lessons - ideal beginner projects include: scarves, cushion covers, hats, simple baby clothes. I can either provide a pattern for a small extra cost or help you decide on what you would like

In addition to this basic programme we can also explore:

Internet use - finding freebees, online tutorial
Visit a Yarn Shop - get a feel for materials and equipment
Crafting on a Budget - how to make things as cheaply as possible.

Rates: 
If 3 to 6 or more people want to learn together there is a flat rate of £24 per lesson
