iRest Yoga Nidra
The lesson starts where the person finds themselves in the moment. There is no set level, it is entirely individual and depends on what the client wishes to address. Body scanning/sensing forms a large part of the session to allow for sensation to arise and become evident. The client is guided to express how this feels and is introduced to the concept of working with opposites. When we accept the opposite of what is occurring then resistance subsides not just in the physical but also on the mental and emotional level of our being. This allows for acceptance of our true nature which is beyond resistance, pain, fear or anger. This work is particularly affective in learning to cope with Ptsd.
