Chip off the Old are a ladies Morris dance side based in Derby. We have been together since 1978 performing traditional Cotswold Morris dances, using sticks and hankies. During the summer months we perform at festivals, well dressings, village inns and fairs often with other Morris teams.

We dance with a live band using traditional folk music instruments.

It is good fun and an easy way to keep fit and beginners and new members are always very welcome.

Practice is on Wednesdays from 8pm – 10pm, usually at St. Mary’s Community Centre, Derby or sometimes Holy Family Church, Allestree. Both venues have a free car park.
