School of Babywearing

The School of Babywearing™ is a social enterprise that runs training courses for parents, professionals and organisations about carrying babies and children in slings and baby carriers.
Our courses are open to everyone with an interest in families with young children: parents, grandparents, midwives, breastfeeding counsellors and peer-supporters, health visitors, antenatal teachers, children centres, baby carrier manufacturers and retailers.
The Babywearing Consultancy training course is aimed at people who give one-to-one advice to parents about choosing slings and baby carriers. It qualifies you to work as a Babywearing Consultant and you will be awarded a Level 3 qualification accredited by the Open College Network.
The qualification is completed through attending a workshop (running throughout the country) and a home study module.
