Sirocco Academy of Egyptian Dance (SAED)

Be taught Egyptian bellydance by the nationally renowned Sirocco Academy of Egyptian Dance (SAED).

SAED is a collective of bellydance teachers who came together to promote the art of Egyptian bellydance. All of the teachers are dedicated, experienced dancers and performers and have studied Egyptian dance to a high standard. All the SAED teachers continue to train with Caroline Afifi, one of the UK's leading teachers and performers.

We believe Egyptian dance is accesssible to women of all ages, abilities, shapes and sizes and we share this intoxicating and beautiful dance with our students, providing Egyptian bellydance classes in three different venues across Liverpool, Cheshire and Wirral.

There are 9 teachers in SAED, ensuring students can access supportive, varied and enjoyable dance lessons. All the teachers are members of, and insured by, the Northern Arabic Dance Association (NADA).

We also organise trips to Cairo, student party nights and partner with organisations such the Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival and national Arabian dance groups to help provide a vibrant bellydance community!
